Design fees and payments, state by state
Security of payment, building designer registration and planning are all set at state and territory level, so we have one page per jurisdiction, each covering its capital city. Every fact links to an official source; where we couldn’t verify something, we left it out.

Why one page per state? The rules that shape design fees are made by states and territories, not cities, so separate city pages would repeat the same facts. Short city addresses such as /locations/melbourne redirect to the right state page.
Help shape it before launch
We are looking for a small group of Australian design practices and consultants to pilot this on one or two real projects.
